1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Aqimo. By downloading, installing, or using the Aqimo mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SyncrowAI ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Aqimo.

2. Service Description

Aqimo is a prayer companion app designed to help Muslims maintain consistency in their five daily prayers (Salah) by:

• Calculating accurate prayer times based on your geographic location
• Providing a Qibla compass to determine the direction of prayer
• Blocking selected apps during prayer times to minimize distractions
• Tracking prayer completion and building prayer habits
• Delivering prayer time notifications and reminders

The App is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising through Google AdMob.

3. Eligibility

The App is available to users of all ages. Users under the age of 13 must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• If you are under 18, you have obtained parental/guardian consent
• You will use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• You will not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Aqimo, you agree to:

• Accurate Information: Provide accurate location permissions to ensure correct prayer time calculations
• Device Permissions: Grant necessary iOS permissions (location, motion sensors, Family Controls, notifications) for the App to function properly
• Responsible Use: Use the App as a spiritual aid and not rely solely on it for religious obligations
• Respect Religious Guidance: Consult religious scholars or authorities for official Islamic rulings; the App provides general guidance only
• Compliance: Use the App in accordance with iOS terms of service and all applicable laws

5. iOS-Specific Terms and Permissions

Aqimo is an iOS application that requires specific device permissions and features to function properly:

Required Permissions

• Location Services: Required to calculate accurate prayer times based on your geographic location. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services
• Motion & Orientation: Required for the Qibla compass feature to determine prayer direction using device sensors
• Family Controls (Screen Time API): Required to block selected apps during prayer times. This permission must be granted for the app blocking feature to work
• Notifications: Optional permission to receive prayer time reminders and app notifications
• App Tracking Transparency: Optional permission to enable personalized advertisements through Google AdMob

Apple End User License Agreement

By downloading Aqimo from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall prevail.

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and SyncrowAI only, and not with Apple. SyncrowAI, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features
• Use the App in a manner that violates Islamic principles or teachings
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code through the App
• Use automated systems to access or interact with the App

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are the exclusive property of SyncrowAI or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include any right to:

• Resell or make commercial use of the App
• Collect or use product listings or descriptions
• Make derivative uses of the App or its content
• Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools

8. Third-Party Services and Links

Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. AdMob may collect certain information about you, including your Advertising Identifier (IDFA), subject to your consent via iOS App Tracking Transparency.

We do not control AdMob's data practices. Please review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for more information.

Prayer Time Calculations

Prayer times are calculated using standard Islamic calculation methods (ISNA, MWL, Egyptian, etc.) and your device's location data. While we strive for accuracy, prayer times may vary slightly based on:

• Calculation method selected
• Geographic location precision
• Local conventions and adjustments
• Daylight saving time changes

We recommend consulting with local mosques or Islamic authorities to verify prayer times for your area.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SyncrowAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of prayer times
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the results obtained from using the App

Religious Guidance: Aqimo is a tool to assist with prayer consistency and is not a substitute for religious knowledge, scholarship, or personal religious obligations. We are not religious authorities and do not provide Islamic legal rulings (fatwa). Always consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious guidance.

Location Accuracy: Prayer times depend on accurate location data. GPS accuracy can be affected by various factors including device hardware, atmospheric conditions, and urban environments. You are responsible for verifying prayer times with local sources.

App Blocking: The app blocking feature relies on iOS Family Controls and may not work perfectly in all scenarios. You remain responsible for your device usage and prayer observance.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNCROWAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

In no event shall SyncrowAI, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Loss of goodwill or reputation
• Personal injury or property damage
• Damages arising from your reliance on prayer times, religious content, or App functionality
• Any failure of the app blocking feature or missed prayer times resulting from technical issues
• Third-party services including Google AdMob

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SyncrowAI and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Any content or data you submit through the App

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate these Terms at any time by:

• Uninstalling the App from your device
• Ceasing all use of the App
• Deleting all copies of the App in your possession

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Technical or security reasons

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law provisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect through:

• In-app notifications
• Updates to this page with a new "Last updated" date
• Email notification (if you have provided an email address)

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the App and uninstall it.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SyncrowAI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:

• Informal Resolution: You agree to contact us first at support@aqimoapp.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally
• Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration

15. Severability and Waiver

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by us in the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and SyncrowAI regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Our Privacy Policy, available at aqimoapp.com/privacy, describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
